Our Story

Hi, I’m Rachel, the baker behind Everyday Kneads.

In 2019, I made a New Year’s resolution to learn how to fail well. I chose baking as my teacher, specifically sourdough, with its rich history and lessons in patience, persistence, and beauty.

What started as a personal challenge turned into a passion. I checked out books at the library, watched endless Youtube videos, and baked constantly. I loved the science of bread baking!  When someone asked if I’d sell my bread, I said yes. Really just to see if I could. That’s how my cottage bakery began. I was learning in real-time, often failing in public. 

After a long break, Everyday Kneads is back. This time, with Madison, and a clearer purpose. We are not just learning how to bake, we are learning how to build a meaningful business. One that values people over profit, encourages community over comparison, and helps others embrace the process. 

Every bake has a story. We are honored to be part of yours.

Meet Our bakers

Rachel

Rachel is the owner and baker at Everyday Kneads. She's been baking since 2019. Her favorite loaf of bread is Honey Wheat and she dislikes Snickerdoodle cookies and washing dishes.

Madison

Madison is the Cookie Baker at Everyday Kneads. She graduated from Cal-State Fullerton in 2020 with a theatre degree. Her favorite loaf is Jalapeño Cheddar and she dislikes Herb and Olive bread and cracking eggs.
